B.A.R.K.
Because Animals Really Kount, Inc

A private 501c3 fundraising group working to raise
money to benefit  the Kankakee County Animal Control

This group is not part of the Kankakee County Government
B.A.R.K. is an organization developed by caring staff and individuals like you to help deserving animals in need! This group facilitates fundraising opportunities in which 100% of the proceeds go towards developing a new and improved shelter and resource center for the community. KCAC was originally built as a holding facility and is VERY limited in what it is able to provide. A new shelter would allow for ample quarantine rooms for sick animals, adoption facilities for visiting with and maintaining adoptable animals and providing discount services like spay/neuter, vaccination, microchipping, etc. to the community.

Is Your Cat/Dog Microchipped???
Did you know it is a County Ordinance to have your cat/dog microchipped?
Your pet has a better chance at returning home more quickly if they are chipped!
B.A.R.K Microchip clinics help raise money to build a new shelter and resource center for the community.
Next microchip clinic:
Stay Tuned for next scheduled clinic
$20 includes chip placement and national registration per dog
*all proceeds go toward building a new shelter and resource center for the homeless animals in Kankakee County
